Local News in Brief : Man Sought in Wife’s Strangling

A Van Nuys woman was found strangled in a motel room and police were looking for her husband for questioning, officers said Monday.
Los Angeles police said an all-points bulletin had been issued for Dennis James Cass, 25, in connection with the death of Loretta M. Cass, who was found dead Saturday morning in a room at the La Casitas Hotel on Sylvan Street. The body was discovered by hotel employees who investigated the room after the couple failed to check out on time, police said.
