An unidentified man, believed to be in his late teens to early 20s, was killed Friday evening after being hit by a passing motorist on Otay Mesa Road, one-half mile west of Heritage Road, the deputy county coroner said. The spokesman said they suspect the man was a Mexican because his wallet contained only pesos.
