Slain Woman’s Husband Arrested

The husband of a Santa Ana woman who was shot to death during a family dispute early Monday has been arrested on suspicion of murder, police said Tuesday.
Armando Magana Cuevas, 30, was being held without bail at the Orange County Jail after officers arrested him Monday at the home he had shared with his wife, Eduveges Cuevas, 28, police said.
She died at Fountain Valley Community Hospital shortly after she was shot about 1:30 a.m. at her home on West Harvard Street.
