Bardsley Leads SCC to Victory

Forward Ken Bardsley made 13 of 18 field-goal attempts and scored a season-high 26 points Friday night to lead Southern California College to a 95-80 victory over host Los Angeles Baptist in NAIA District 3 play at Newhall.
The first-place Vanguards, who never trailed, improved their record to 6-2 in conference and 20-4 overall. The Mustangs are 1-6 and 14-13.
Center Greg Ward added 18 points and 11 rebounds, and point guard Sherwin Durham had 10 points and 11 assists for SCC. Guard Pete Junket scored 17 to lead Los Angeles Baptist.
