Richard Scores 27 to Leads Point Loma

SAN DIEGO — Junior center Deon Richard scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Tuesday night to lead Point Loma Nazarene College to an 81-65 win over Cal Baptist at Golden Gymnasium.

The Crusaders, who led by as many as 32 points in the second half, are 5-2 in NAIA District 3 Southern Division play and 19-6 overall. Cal Baptist is 3-4, 13-12.

Craig Richards was the Lancers’ leading scorer with 18.
