Advertising executive Frederick Johnson Jr. will be the president of next year’s Tournament of Roses festivities, supervising the parade and Rose Bowl game and serving as good-will ambassador for the annual event. Johnson announced that the theme for the 1986 Tournament of Roses will be “A Celebration of Laughter.” Johnson, a 30-year resident of Pasadena, is vice president of Dentsu, Young & Rubicam Advertising and Marketing Communications.
