Bombs Wreck Buddhist Temple

JAKARTA, Indonesia — Nine bombs ripped through the world’s largest Buddhist temple today, wrecking major sections of the 1,100-year-old archeological wonder that underwent a multimillion-dollar face-lift three years ago.
No injuries were reported in the blasts at the Borobudur temple in central Java, but authorities said it sustained heavy damage. No group immediately claimed responsibility, but authorities speculated that Muslim extremists were involved.
