A state commission has delayed for one month the consideration of a proposed settlement of a suit over all-male hiring at Bohemian Grove, a retreat whose members include President Reagan and Vice President George Bush. In a closed-door session, the Fair Employment and Housing Commission heard a request for a delay by the women who oppose the hiring policy. They said they needed more time to prepare their case. The all-male Bohemian Club employs women in a few jobs at its San Francisco headquarters, but none work at the grove on the Russian River, a scenic retreat where some of the nation’s most powerful men gather every summer.
