Ground is scheduled to be broken early this month by Topa Management Corp. for a $6-million, two-story, 30,000-square-foot retail and office building at 15200 Sunset Blvd., Pacific Palisades.
When completed in January, 1986, the building’s lower level will accommodate retail tenants and the second floor is designed for offices. There will be two-level subterranean parking for 120 cars.
The building was designed by Malibu architect John B. Kilbane & Associates in Mediterranean styling. Financing is by Union Bank of Los Angeles and Topa will handle construction and leasing.
The site was purchased by Topa from Jack and Mary Sauer, Pacific Palisades developers, who had owned the property since 1926. The project cost figure includes purchase of the land.
