Fire in Malibu Area Injures 4

Four people were injured, two buildings were gutted and an acre of brush burned in a pre-dawn fire today in the Latigo Canyon area of Malibu, sheriff’s deputies said. The most seriously injured was a 32-year-old woman who suffered first-degree burns on her back. She was listed in serious condition at Santa Monica Hospital.
