Football: Five Santa Margarita players have scholarship offers

There’s a reason Santa Margarita is expected to be ranked among the top teams in the Southland this fall. Five juniors already have college scholarship offers.

Quarterback Johnny Stanton has offers from Washington, Air Force and Duke. Offensive lineman Riley Sorenson has offers from Washington, Washington State, Colorado and SMU.

Defensive back Connor O’Brien has offers from Washington State, Duke and Colorado.

Offensive lineman Erik Bunte has a UCLA offer. Offensive lineman Dane Crane has been offered by Colorado.
