Elliot Surrey, a UC Irvine signee, pitched six scoreless innings, striking out seven, as Crescenta Valley defeated Yucaipa, 4-0, Wednesday night.

He also had a double and single. Troy Mulcahey aded two hits for Crescenta Valley (1-1). Cole Currie pitched a scoreless seventh.
