Former Woodland Hills Taft point guard Spencer Dinwiddie, last season’s City Section player of the year in basketball, is feeling excited as he practices with Colorado, where he’s a freshman and competing for a starting spot.
‘I’m going to be playing primarily on the wing, which is different than high school, but I’m comfortable,’ Dinwiddie said.
Dinwiddie has grown one inch, to 6-foot-5. Many believe he’s just beginning to reach his potential, and it will be interesting to see if he can emerge as one of the top freshmen in the Pacific 12 Conference.
