Football: Crenshaw’s Martin vs. Dorsey’s Simmons

There could be a little rivalry brewing in the City Section between offensive linemen.

Crenshaw’s Marcus Martin, a 6-foot-4, 335-pound senior, has committed to USC. Dorsey’s Jordan Simmons, a 6-4, 280-pound junior, has a scholarship offer from Washington and will likely get more.

Both are big, powerful and athletic. And since Crenshaw and Dorsey are scheduled to meet in a regular-season finale this fall, we’ll know a lot more by then.
