Swimming: Cleveland, Palisades win City titles

Reseda Cleveland won the City Section boys’ swimming championship Friday with 342 points. Birmingham finished second with 279. Palisades won the girls’ title with 409 points, edging Cleveland, which had 404.
Margaret O’Rourke of Venice won the girls’ 50 freestyle (25.14) and the 100 freestyle (54.13).
Nico Kryspin of Woodland Hills Taft was a double winner in the boys’ competition, taking the 50 freestyle (22.03) and 100 freestyle (48.77).
Junior Valerie Orellana of Cleveland won four events and set a City record in the 100 butterfly.
