Monday’s Western League game between Fairfax and host Westchester probably won’t be much of a battle, considering Westchester crushed the Lions, 72-39, in the first meeting.
But Fairfax (12-8, 5-2) is hoping to show improvement in the 7 p.m. game. Westchester is 18-3 and 7-0 in league.
The Comets need to stay focused in the competition for No. 1 seed for the City Section Division I playoffs because Woodland Hills Taft is getting better and improving its resume after knocking off highly regarded Gardena Serra on Saturday.
