Conor McCullough of West Hills Chaminade, the nation’s No. 1 high school hammer thrower, is having a tough time making his college choice.
McCullough, who holds the national high school record for the 12-pound and 6-kilogram hammer, is down to USC, UCLA, Duke, Princeton and Harvard.
‘It’s a toss-up,’ he said.
He hopes to finish his visits to each of the universities this month, then make a decision.
Meanwhile, next weekend, he’ll compete in two national indoor championship meets in New York and Boston. Here’s a YouTube video of McCullough.
