Colton vs. Marina under way

I just checked with Colton Coach Harold Strauss and he said he’s still following doctor’s orders since his minor heart attack last February (is their really such a thing as a minor heart attack?). Strauss looks a lot better than the last time I saw the Yellowjackets play, which I believe was Allen Bradford’s junior year.

He and I would still make for a good sumo wrestling match, though.

He passed along a little news as well, letting me (and you) know that UCLA-bound defensive end Damien Holmes will start at fullback for the first time since his sophomore year. Holmes normally plays tight end on offense.

Anyway, the band has left the field, so looks like we’re about to get started. It’s nice to attend a game where the only security guard is a track coach I know from the past (I think Marina, but I’m sorta bad with faces).
