Hot Property: Spice Girl makes a quick sale

Upside: Scary Spice, a.k.a. Melanie Brown, has sold her Hollywood Hills home for $3.14 million after only seven days on the market, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
Downside: She bought it in August 2007 for $3 million, according to Propertyshark.com.
Upside: It had been listed for $2,999,999, according to Realtor.com, so she got more than asking price.
Downside:She spent $1 million on remodeling during her ownership, the MLS said.
