Tony Awards: ‘Book of Mormon’ picks up win for book of a musical

‘The Book of Mormon’ picked up the Tony for book of a musical, adding to the collective medallion stash of Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez.
Parker has won three Tonys so far this evening, while Stone and Lopez have won two each.
The other nominees in the book of a musical category were ‘Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson,’ ‘The Scottsboro Boys’ and ‘Sister Act.’
The musical lost in the costume category to ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.’
